De Nederlandse LaPerm fokkers komen met regelmaat bij elkaar om gezamenlijk tot een gezond folkbeleid te komen.

De katten waar mee gefokt wordt zijn getest op erfelijke afwijkingen en ziektes. Daarnaast vinden wij het karakter van de katten waarmee gefokt wordt zeer belangrijk en een zo gezond mogelijke genenpoel. Tevens proberen wij de kernwaarden van de rasstandaard in type, vacht en hoofd zo goed mogelijke te behouden en door te ontwikkelen. 

Niet alleen de langhaar variant van de LaPerm kent in Nederland zijn aanhangers, ook de korthaar kent een voorkeur bij enkele fokkers. Beide varianten krijgen daarmee aandacht.

Prijs is bij alle LaPerm fokkers in Nederland gelijk.  Verkoop buiten Nederland voor prijzen gangbaar in dat land indien hoger dan de prijs in Nederland, dit ter voorkoming van dierenhandel

 

The dutch LaPerm breeders come regularly toghether to discuss abouth healthy and good breeding. 

Cats used for breeding are tested for genetic disorders and diseases. In addition, we find the character of the cats used for breeding very important as wel as a healthy gene pool.  We also try to keep and improve the core values of the breed standard in type, coat and head. 

Not only the longhair LaPerm is loved in the Netherlands. The shorthair LaPerm is also loved by several breeders. 

Prices are equal with all breeders. Prices for sales outside the Netherlands according to the standard in that country, when the price is higher than in the Netherlands. This to prevent animal trading.
